IMF says, now it's Asia' turn to slowdown and face the economic downturn. Is China's slow economic growth the sign of starting economic turmoil which we all need to be ready for? Well, this has been discussed between business strong heads and nobody is certain about the future of Asian economy.

If China has slowed down, India have gained the pace towards reaching 10% of growth which is equivalent to China. If this so, how can there be a economic downturn.

Boom in mobile telephony in rural India

The rising number of Mobile subscribers base in India is going to be dominated by rural sector. As per market research done by our market research company more than 50% of mobile users will be from rural area. If we look at below graph we are seeing an enormous increase in subscriber base by year 2013.

Indian Rupee Gets A NEW Symbol

Indians have got a reason to smile with approval of new symbol for Indian Rupee designed by an IIT'ian. Indian cabinet approved the design with old symbol issued by Emperor Sher Shah Suri.

The new Indian Rupee Symbol really looks great and Mr. D. Udaya Kumar have made us, Indians proud. Now India too have a recognised symbol which has joined the elite list of international currencies which have thier own currency symbols. Three Cheers to Udaya and Indians.

Indian tourism boom in this economic downturn

We have been following economic principles quite a times since our student age... what i am talking about is demand and supply chain. Indian tourism industry growth has been on boil since last 4-5 years with decline in terrorism activities as compare to neighbouring Asian countries. The current stats from online market survey done by Visha Consultants shows an imbalance in demand and supply of available hotels in India. The ratio is eye opening for Indian hoispitality industry to strive. The demand for hotel rooms is more than double what India currently have which can have impact in Indian tourism industry .

In comparison to inflow of tourists in India there is major shortfall of rooms. As per data sourced from Indian tourism ministry total demand is for 295,000 rooms with supply of only 113,540 rooms. Still after approval of 90,000 rooms there is shortfall of supply which is main hinderance for Indian hospitality industry.
